I’m
a beeeeee!!!!!!! Maestro, please cue music while I run a victory lap around my
living room:
I
still can’t believe that I get to write this post; the post that I’ve written
and rewritten a thousand times in my head. After I saw the email from Miss
Mouse, I didn’t even read beyond the words “great addition to the Weddingbee
team” before calling Mr. Waterfall and leaving him a voicemail which he later described
as a bunch of incoherent shrieking. There are no words to describe my current
level of excitement, so instead, why don’t I just show you?

I’m
counting down the days until I marry the love of my life after almost 10 years
of being together and 2 years of planning our wedding and I seriously
cannot wait! To say that it’s been a long time coming would be a huge understatement.
We met on my 17th birthday in October, by Valentine’s Day, he
mustered the courage to ask me out, by July, we went on our first date and we only
had our first kiss the following August before making it official in September.

I’m
a litigation attorney and Mr. W is a Political Attaché for a Member of
Parliament. We live together in a lovely but tiny one-bedroom apartment in the
heart of downtown Montreal. We’re foodies who love trying out new restaurants
and cooking delicious meals at home (I cook; he pours the wine, a VERY
important task!). We watch way too much TV and get super competitive over
board-games and trivia. We also love dogs, specifically, my 8 year-old Golden Retriever, Simba.

We
are planning a romantic June wedding with a lot of Cuban traditions and a hint
of Versailles (unusual combo, but then again so are we!) and can’t wait to
share it all with you.
